Supporting Industrial Customers at ISU Center for Crops Utilization Research

Our center focuses on successful technology transfer to industry by utilizing pilot scale fermentation facilities and pilot plant facilities to demonstrate proof-of-concept and de-risk of converting lab studies into commercially viable processes. We support industry by providing (1) research and services to demonstrate proof-of-concept by scaling up lab studies into commercially viable processes and products; (2) incubation facilities needed to develop new businesses and grow existing ones; and (3) workforce training to maintain their competitive advantages.
